neutral sisal cord loops. Price is for a set of 12 (twelve) pieces and includes two each of five girls and three boys.
Our figurines pay tribute to the Sami people.
The seminomadic Finno-Ugric people inhabiting named Sami live in the the Arctic area of Sᰭi (parts of far northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and the Kola Peninsula of Russia).
The distinct customs and traditions of the Scandinavian Sami culture are still alive .
Gi is a feature of Sami dress tradition which in past times was made from reindeer leather and sinews, but is now more commonly made from wool, cotton, or silk.
These ornaments are hand crafted by master artisans which is precisely the reason we like them.
Each ornament is a "one off" piece, entirely made by hand. Please note that due to this peculiar uniqueness, customer must be able to accept understandable variations in finish as well as minor imperfections that are normal for unique hand made objects.

Please note that the backdrop decoration (tapered willow trees and reindeer ornaments) are for display only and are sold separately (see our other listings).
