Jean Prouvé Guéridon Bas Table by Vitra
Low Round Coffee Table in Solid Oak
Imported from Germany by Vitra
The Jean Prouvé Guéridon Bas Table — originally called *La Table Guéridon* — is an icon of mid-20th-century French design. This classic coffee table showcases the timeless modernist vision of its creator, Jean Prouvé. With its clean, architectural lines and practical construction, the Guéridon Bas reflects Prouvé’s mastery of functional design and structural elegance. First designed for the University of Paris in the 1940s, the Guéridon Bas features a solid wood top resting on three sturdy oak legs, referencing Prouvé’s tropical *Table Africaine*. Vitra’s authorized reissue stays true to the original drawings, bringing this mid-century masterpiece to contemporary interiors. The Guéridon Bas is available in natural or dark-stained oak, adding warmth and sophistication to any space. Made in Europe by Vitra. Jean Prouvé’s designs are celebrated worldwide and can be found in collections such as the Vitra Design Museum, MoMA, the Design Museum, and the Victoria & Albert Museum.
