Mayuhana Pendant Light by Yamagiwa created by Japanese designer Toyo Ito. Inspired by Japanese Butterfly Cocoons, the Mayuhana Pendants are handmade in Japan. Three semi-transparent spheres are blended into a single pendant light fixture. The Mayuhana Pendant by Yamagiwa presents a silky white spun thread design that is reminiscent of a cocoon. The Mayuhana Pendant gives off a soft light that is enhanced by the double and triple shelters of this delicate, glass fiber creation. Yamagiwa was established in 1923 and has been well known in Japan for its top quality design and service in the manufacturing and distributing of high-end Lighting products for more than half century. A small opening on the top allows the bulb to be exchanged. Ships fully assembled.
