It is unique, beautiful and functional! The Cronotime clock was designed by Pio Manzu for Ritz-Italora in 1966. It was re-issued by Alessi from Italy. Pio Manzu was born in Bergamo Italy in 1939, son of the sculptor Giacomo, he studied at the Hochschule fur Gestaltung in Ulm. In 1962 together with Michael Conrad, he won the competition held by Revue Automobile for a new concept of coupe to be applied on the Austin Healey 100 chassis. In 1968 he entered the Centro Stile FIAT as consultant, devoting himself with the study of small sized cars. He designed the Cronotime clock for Alessi in Italy, which is a neo-retro style desk clock.
