Designed in 1963 by Jaume Sans. The Pie de Salon is the essence of a classic floor lamp. The adjustable leather-covered brass shaft opens out into a base with three points of support.
Structural simplicity combined with noble materials are the main qualities of this lamp. The three solid legs of the base are made of polished brass. The shaft is covered in hand-stitched leather and inside houses the wiring and a brass tube which can be used to regulate the shade to the desired height.
Ideal for creating a pleasant and serene mood, this lamp has withstood the test of time and the tyranny of fashion to become recognised for what it is: an efficient, well-designed object, stripped down to its bare essentials.
