Tales of Wood Office Bin Walnut by Normann Copenhagen

Designed in 1984 by Danish master cabinetmaker Bent G. Nielsen, the Tales of Wood Office Bin brings the warmth and craftsmanship of fine furniture to an everyday object. Simple, functional, and beautifully proportioned, its sculptural form makes it an elegant waste bin for the home office, workspace, or modern interior.

Crafted from molded walnut veneer, the design features softly rounded corners and a refined tapered edge that gives the bin a light, graceful appearance. The natural walnut grain becomes an integral part of the design, making each piece subtly unique.

Tales of Wood reflects Denmark's long tradition of working with molded wood. The original concept was developed by Bent G. Nielsen, while his son, master cabinetmaker Jan Nielsen, created the molds required to bring the design into production. Originally produced and marketed directly by the cabinetmaker, the design is now part of the Normann Copenhagen collection.
