Yamagiwa Jakobsson Lamp Pendant Large is a faithful reproduction of Hans-Agne Jakobsson's Scandinavian lighting masterpiece, carefully assembled in Japan by skilled craftsmen. Originally designed in the 1960s, this pendant lamp combines the warmth of natural wood with timeless Scandinavian design.

The shade is made from clear lacquered European pine wood. When illuminated, the thin wood softly filters the light, revealing the fine grain of the material and creating a warm reddish-orange glow. The gentle light is reminiscent of a bonfire at dusk, bringing comfort, calm, and relaxation to the room.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson was a prominent Swedish lighting designer of the mid-20th century. Born in 1919, Jakobsson began his career as a carpenter before moving into lighting design. His work is known for simple, elegant forms and the use of natural materials such as wood and rattan.
