The GT7 lampshade is a GT5 blown up to outsize proportions in order to meet the needs of even the largest spaces. Its ribboned construction filters a richly varied light. When not lit the GT7 is a handsome decorative element. Because it is so large, the GT7 is made of 2.36" wide ribbon available in white, black or red.
Its cone-shaped frame holds three bulbs. The upper section of the opening is covered by an opaque metallic reflector plate which reduces upward transmission of the light whereas a translucent fibre glass plate at the base of the shade conceals the bulbs and diffuses the light to dapple the floor with pools of light. The ceiling remains dark and creates the impression that it is closer, making it especially recommendable for spaces with high ceilings.
