Miniature "Paimio", Designer: Alvar Aalto designed by Aalto in 1931. The Paimio chair paved the way for the Scandinavian influence on international design which lasted until the 1960s. It derived its name from the Finnish city of Paimio, for whose sanatorium it was initially designed.
