Studio 65's Red Bocca Lip Sofa, crafted in durable plastic suitable for outdoor use, is finally available again from the great folks at Heller! The long awaited famous lipstick-red sofa adds a smile to any environment at a price that doesn't break the bank. Bocca came to international attention in 1972 with the new york exhibition 'italy : a new domestic landscape' at the MoMa - museum of modern art. Referenced in many books about modern design. The Studio 65 Bocca Lip Sofa is a new and updated version of the original designed in 1972. It is produced of lightly textured red resin plastic which makes it perfect for both indoor or outdoor use. Easy to clean. Seats one or two people.
The difference between the edition produced by Gufram and Heller is that the Gufram edition is made of a comfortable soft polyurethane (high resiliency flexible foam) which is upholstered with an elastic fabric. The Heller edition is made entirely out of polymer plastic which makes it perfect for outdoor use if needed. The Gufram edition can be used indoors only.
