Based on a turn-of-the-century school house find, we crafted our 1885 Industrial Vintage Styled World Globe from solid and heavy steatite (stone) with metal stands. Forgoing your typical world globe that shows the continents, countries and descriptions, each globe is "entirely black and does not show any continents". White continents as shown on our photographs can be hand-drawn with standard chalk, allowing these globes to be beautiful yet creative pieces of home decor. Originally used as teaching aids, each globe includes one box of white drawing chalk.
