This delightful super sweet gumball-like table lamp is made from fine bakelite and have a high gloss finish in bright gumball colors. Bakelite is a pure and profound industrial material whose plastic like qualities are perfect for these lamps. This beautiful hand crafted table lamp has a very modern look and quality feel to it and is great for display even when the light is off. The inspiration for this lamp came from the 'Hang It All Coat Rack" which was designed by Charles and Ray Eames. The lamp is made features two interlocking spheres, the bottom one being made with bakelite and the top with opaline glaas. The result is a peaceful and well-balanced composition. A great modern lamp with a distinctive touch of pop-art and mid century space age mod. A great addition for any modern interior.
