Mobilia 236 March 1975 Danish Design Magazine
Special Verner Panton Issue

Special Verner Panton issue published by the Danish design magazine Mobilia in March 1975. Extremely scarce and highly collectible interior design magazine from March 1975. Original magazine from that time, not a later reprint! Truly amazing Verner Panton publication. The first publication that was ever made about Verner Panton. Beautiful MUST HAVE and highly collectible Mobilia edition about Designer and Architect Verner Panton! Amazing find! This Verner Panton magazine is vintage (not a new magazine) dating back to 1975. Each page was printed in a Verner Panton Mira-x color! Includes pictures of some rare ball/wonder lamps, Fun shell lamps for Luber and spiral lamps. Also some beautiful Visiona style interiors. This Verner Panton magazine has text in English, French, Germany and Danish. Vintage magazine is in well-preserved condition with minor wear on front- and back covers and minor shelf wear.

Verner Panton: Verner Panton was born in Denmark but worked and lived in Switzerland for most of his life. Verner Panton was an artist in the true sense of the word. He did not have the creative obstructions that adults get accustomed too when they grow up. Instead he created his own wonderland through the eyes of a child. His design was consistently brilliant, he created sensual shaped furniture in vibrant colors and even added sound and scents to his interior projects so one could become completely one with his surroundings. He was first to create inflatable furniture, pioneered with the Panton Chair, the much acclaimed single molded plastic chair, and refused to accept gravity by creating the Flying Chair. Panton envisioned a colorful future. His career was highlighted by the Visiona Landscapes he created for Bayer AG in 1968 and 1970 that have now achieved cult status.
